The school's academic programme is divided between the Primary / Junior School (Grades EY1-Year 6) and the High School (Years 7-13). The age level for these grades ranges between 3 and 18 years. The curriculum implemented in the Primary and Junior School is the International Baccalaureate PYP. In High School (Years 7 to 11) students follow the IB MYP. In Years 12 and 13 students undertake the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) or the Career-related Programme (IBCP). The IB Diploma Programme is a comprehensive and challenging pre-university course that demands the best from both motivated students and teachers. EIS - Jumeirah was authorised as an "IB World School" by the International Baccalaureate Organisation in 1992.
